Petermann has introduced the first water-hydraulic bathlift into the bathtub and is continuing to work on developing new technologies.
With the slogan "Keep moving, stay mobile as long as you can and keep your independence and self-respect" Petermann has introduced the new patented Peter Pan bathlift.
The active Peter Pan bathlift consists primarily of stainless steel. In practice, the active bathlift is designed for immobilised people who want to improve their quality of life, because it assists them to use a bath easily without requiring the assistance of other persons.
All Petermann products are manufactured and tested in Germany in compliance with the latest technical standards. Many manufacturing processes are done by machine, but they cannot replace the high-quality skills of experienced technicians.
Petermann today works with the knowledge and experience of carers and experts in hospitals, nursing homes and domestic situations to develop and manufacture a wide range of innovative aids for daily care.
However, the best and most innovative aids are only useful if there is someone to show people how to use them.
For many years Petermann has offered seminars and courses for users and carers showing them how to use small aids in daily care in ways that save their backs. Courses of several days are also available for mentors and in kinaesthetics.
