The number of heavy patients in care homes, hospitals and home care is continuously increasing.

However, the approved load capacity of current standard aids is frequently inadequate and more and more equipment today cannot cope with very heavy patients.

Over the years during which Petermann has been providing repositioning and transfer aids for care homes and hospitals, Petermann has been able to apply their many years of experience in this field to the requirements for special products for very heavy patients.

Petermann has taken advantage of this experience and the company's existing expertise in transfer aids to develop high-quality equipment that in standard form can take loads up to 200 kg (Alpha repositioning aids) and in some cases can be used for loads up to 400 kg.
