The holding belt is made of padded nylon material with non-slip properties inside. It is placed round the patient‘s waist and closed with a buckle.
The holding belt has a number of grips so the carer can control the flow of movement, for example when transferring a patient to a chair, and support insecure patients. The belt is also a reliable aid to walking.
Insecure patients or ones with unstable circulation can be held properly without their arm having to be held.
